Off to Cali!

One of the perks that I’ve been able to enjoy about my job is being able to go to conferences that revolve around ministry.  A large majority of them, this year, happen to be in California.  This week, I’m off to Southern California to attend the PDYM (Purpose Driven Youth Ministry) Leader’s conference with a few others, and you can bet that while we are down there we will enjoy the many things California has to offer, such as:

Ah, yes, my one (ok, maybe not my only) sinful consumption in L.A.  One year, I was so hungry I had two doubles, but ended up paying for it in the end with a bad stomach ache.

Hopefully we’ll be able to stop by K-town and gorge on some meat at one of my favorite buffets, Tahoe Kalbi.

What is that, you ask?  It’s mochis, but what’s inside is the surprise.  I’ve been told to go to a place called Mochilato, where they make mochi that is wrapped around bite size portions of gelato goodness.

They also serve have shaved ice!

Man, this is going to be a really long and tedious trip.  =P
